The superimposition of different image layers and the partial conversion into negative create a visual world in which reality and imagination meet. Dried flowers and bright plant silhouettes merge into a composition between visibility and dissolution. I am fascinated by the moment in which plants detach themselves from their representational form and become light, structure, and memory. This results in images that not only document nature but also make its transience and silent beauty visible.
