Dried flowers and leaves encounter fragments of my earlier material pictures. Thus, painting and photography enter into a silent dialogue. The plants merge with the structures, colors and imperfections of the picture surfaces to form new pictorial spaces. My photographs are not intended to depict botanical objects. Rather, they speak of time, memory and transience and reveal the silent beauty of imperfection.
