Dried blossoms and leaves encounter fragments of my earlier material pictures. Thus, painting and photography enter into a silent dialogue. The plants combine with the structures, colours, and imperfections of the image surfaces to form new pictorial spaces. My photographs do not intend to depict botanical objects. Rather, they speak of time, memory, and transience, and reveal the silent beauty of the imperfect.
