Two layers seem to overlap in this image: buildings, water, and sky lose their clear boundaries and merge into one another. The architecture appears both present and like a fading memory. Reflections and transparent structures create a space that hovers between reality and imagination.
The subdued color palette and diffused light intensify the quiet, almost melancholic atmosphere. The image speaks less of a concrete place than of time, memory, and the transience of our perception.
