Dried blossoms and leaves meet fragments of my earlier material pictures. In this way, painting and photography enter into a silent dialogue. The plants combine with the structures, colours, and imperfections of the picture surfaces to create new pictorial spaces. My photographs do not aim to depict botanical objects. Rather, they tell stories of time, memory, and transience, and reveal the quiet beauty of the imperfect.
