Every wall tells its own story. Layers of paint, cracks, and exposed stone bear witness to the changes that time leaves behind. By reducing them to forms, structures, and light, images emerge that take on the expression of painted surfaces. I am not interested in the spectacular, but in the quiet beauty of the ordinary. Walls become landscapes, surfaces abstract compositions. Photography becomes a medium that not only makes visible but preserves atmosphere. The works were created in a historic building in South Tyrol.
